12 new video games this spring that could be the best of 2026
Conversation this month has often revolved around Crimson Desert and Nvidia’s DLSS 5/AI controversy, but March through May brings a wide range of other releases, from Pragmata, Saros and Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight to plenty of indies and AA titles. We’ve rounded up 12 under-the-radar games to wishlist this spring, ordered by release date.
March highlights include Damon and Baby (March 26), an exploration-focused twin-stick shooter about an exiled demon protecting a toddler; Bloodletter (March 30, Early Access), a gnarly roguelike deckbuilder where you play a medieval barber surgeon with a tarot-inspired card pool; and Tombwater (March 31), a 2D Soulslike from Max Mraz set in a once-thriving town full of Eldritch beasts.
April’s slate is packed: Darwin’s Paradox!
