Collider reports that 2 Broke Girls, the 2011 CBS comedy starring Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs, recently became available on Netflix in various countries and has already broken into the platform's global top ten. Data from FlixPatrol shows the workplace sitcom is among the top shows in Canada, Kenya, and New Zealand and is the ninth most-popular series globally on the service.

The renewed interest comes nine years after the final episode aired on CBS and the cast moved on to other projects. The series follows Max (Dennings) and Caroline (Behrs) as they plan a cupcake business while working at a diner, and the source notes that "planning is the easiest part because execution is fraught with hurdles, and success is not guaranteed." Dennings was praised for her portrayal of Max and for her chemistry with co-stars Garrett Morris (Earl Washington), Jonathan Kite (Oleg Golishevsky), Matthew Moy (Han Lee), and Jennifer Coolidge (Sophie Kaczyński).

Dennings currently stars in ABC's Shifting Gears alongside Tim Allen; the show follows Matt (Allen), "the stubborn, widowed owner of a classic car restoration shop," and the arrival of his estranged daughter Riley (Dennings) and her kids.
