28 Years Later: The Bone Temple Arrives on Netflix March 31, 2026

28 Years Later: The Bone Temple will arrive on Netflix starting Mar. 31, 2026. The sequel opened in theaters on Jan. 16, 2026, and saw director Nia DaCosta step in for franchise veteran Danny Boyle. The film starred Ralph Fiennes, Jack O'Connell, Alfie Williams, Erin Kellyman, Chi Lewis Perry, Emma Larid, and Sam Locke, continuing the post-apocalyptic zombie story that began back with the release of 2003's 28 Days Later.

The streaming release comes 74 days after its theatrical debut. The film has been available for digital rental and purchase since Feb. 17 and will be available to purchase on physical media formats like DVD and Blu-ray starting Apr. 21, 2026. That window is nearly a whole month shorter than the release window for 28 Years Later, which opened Jun.

20, 2025 and did not arrive on Netflix until Sep. 20, 2025, 92 days later.
