Prime Video has added stacks of films as we move into March. Here are three hand-picked titles across comedy, thriller and serial-killer drama to keep you entertained this weekend. Josie and the Pussycats, directed by Harry Elfont and Deborah Kaplan (available US/UK), is a brilliant comedy that settled into beloved cult-favorite status rather than becoming a huge hit.

The story follows Josie McCoy (Rachael Leigh Cook), singer and lead guitarist of a Riverdale band, whose offer of a major record deal from sleazy exec Wyatt Frame (Alan Cumming) hides sinister motives. Part Wayne's World, part Zoolander, the film blends satire with a surprisingly great soundtrack.

Directed by Derek Cianfrance and available in the US, The Place Beyond the Pines features Ryan Gosling as Luke Glanton, a mid-'90s motorcycle stuntman who tries to settle down when Romina (Eva Mendes) is pregnant. Needing money, he turns to a series of bank robberies and events quickly spiral out of control.
