Beincrypto reports that on-chain data show major exchanges received roughly $6 billion in BTC this week as Bitcoin rose from about $91,000 on Monday to just above $95,000 by Wednesday.

Arkham analytics found Binance wallets added 32,752 BTC across cold and hot wallets, Coinbase saw 26,486 BTC, Kraken added 3,508 BTC and Bitfinex 3,000 BTC—movements Arkham described as roughly $6 billion in combined buying power. The report also says Bitcoin ETF inflows reached $753 million on Tuesday, January 13, led by Fidelity’s FBTC with $351 million, and Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao clarified the deposits reflected user purchases on exchange wallets rather than internal buys.

The transfers have prompted debate, with some speculating a coordinated buying push; analysts say the data point to strong institutional and high-net-worth participation and Arkham highlighted concentration at major exchanges. While such inflows have historically preceded price rallies, the piece cautions crypto markets remain volatile and sudden reversals are possible.
