8 Most Exciting Thriller Shows Coming to Netflix in 2026
Netflix’s slate of thrillers has become a reliable source of bingeable drama, and 2026 continues that trend with a mix of returning favorites and intriguing new series. The lineup spans psychological dark comedy, gothic horror, Nordic crime and high-stakes espionage.
Highlights include Vladimir, an adaptation led by Rachel Weisz about an English professor consumed by obsession; the gothic-tinged miniseries Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen; Detective Hole, a Jo Nesbø-inspired Norwegian crime drama centered on the tormented Harry Hole; and the second season of Beef, which expands its examination of rage and ambition with an expanded ensemble.
Also on the list are Lupin returning for a fourth season with Omar Sy, the second season of spy thriller Black Doves starring Keira Knightley as a spy whose personal life grows increasingly perilous, and The Chestnut Man’s stand-alone sequel pairing Danica Curcic and Mikkel Boe Følsgaard as detectives facing another dark case based on Søren Sveistrup’s new novel.
