SSD prices have risen, but Best Buy's Tech Fest sale is discounting the WD Black SN850P, with the 8TB option showing a 67% reduction and savings of nearly $2,800. Offered in capacities from 1TB to 8TB, the SN850P delivers read and write speeds up to 7,300 and 6,600 MB/s, respectively, giving much faster loading times than traditional hard drives and plenty of room for large game downloads, save files, screenshots, and highlight reels.

It’s officially licensed for PlayStation 5 use but can be reconfigured for gaming laptops and desktops. The drive includes an integrated heatsink to help maintain optimal temperatures and can be removed for easier installation in smaller PCs. Using flash memory instead of mechanical platters also lowers the risk of internal damage from shocks and bumps.
