'90 Day Fiancé' star Caroline Schwitzky's ex acquitted of attempted murder
Cole Goldberg, the ex-boyfriend of '90 Day Fiancé' alum Caroline Schwitzky, was found not guilty Thursday of first-degree attempted murder and domestic battery. Circuit Judge John Parnofiello said the evidence did not support the charges beyond a reasonable doubt and ordered a not guilty verdict.
After the verdict Goldberg told TMZ he was relieved, saying the truth had finally come out and that the case felt like a weight lifted after dating to 2022. He added that he plans to return to law school in South Florida. Attorneys Heidi Perlet and Marc Shiner said they were "relieved and grateful" that "this four year ordeal is over," praising the judge's fairness and adherence to the law.
Goldberg was arrested in April 2022 after Schwitzky alleged he attempted to strangle and drown her following a heated argument on a boat at Boca Bash.
