A Last Chance to Watch Power Rangers on Netflix Before March 6

The film aimed to modernize the beloved ’90s series but missed at the box office and earned mixed reviews. It is scheduled to leave Netflix on March 6.

Rejecting the original’s camp, the movie leaned into a grounded tone: the teenagers meet in detention, discover the Power Coins and must unite to face real‑world stakes. Elizabeth Banks’ Rita Repulsa was fleshed out as a former Green Ranger who betrayed her team, while Cranston and the young leads keep the story anchored. Montgomery and Scott deliver performances that helped sell the updated approach.
