Adam Levine leaned on that connection when courting 25-year-old JW Griffin from Moultrie, Georgia. After Griffin’s rendition of “Long Haired Country Boy,” Levine told him, “If you pick me, you’re gonna have a co-Coach in Blake Shelton, 'cause he's gonna love you,” and added, “I’m gonna pester him on a daily basis.” Levine also called his friendship with Shelton “explosive.” Now living in Tennessee and working as a bread delivery driver, Griffin said, “Delivering the dough is a good way to make some,” but that his real passion is making music.
