AGDQ 2026 launches Jan. 4 with a week of nonstop speedruns

The Games Done Quick crew returns with Awesome Games Done Quick 2026, which kicks off Sunday, January 4 with Super Mario Sunshine and runs through January 10.

Donations collected during the event will benefit the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

The week features 24/7 speedruns, including recent highlights from 2025 such as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Hollow Knight: Silksong and Hades II.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is scheduled for both a standard run and a "versus" showdown.

Classic Nintendo favorites are also on the roster, including Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Kart World, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD and Super Mario 64.

True to GDQ form, the lineup includes oddball and obscure picks like Bill Nye: The Science Guy - Stop the Rock!, Adventures of Yogi Bear and Garbage Pail Kids: Mad Mike and the Quest for Stale Gum.
