Alan Ritchson First Look Revealed for Netflix's War Machine

USA Today revealed a first look at Alan Ritchson in Netflix's sci‑fi action thriller War Machine ahead of the trailer, showing a tanked‑up Ritchson facing an otherworldly threat.

The film stars Ritchson alongside Jai Courtney, Stephan James, Esai Morales, Keiynan Lonsdale, Daniel Webber and Dennis Quaid. It follows a group of Army Rangers being put through their final paces as part of the world's toughest selection program while facing "a threat beyond their imagination."

Ritchson, who has built a run of action roles including Reacher, has called War Machine a "monster" and said it will be "the coolest thing [Netflix] has ever made, guaranteed," adding he believes it will be one of "the biggest movies Netflix has ever had."

Netflix set a release date of Mar. 6, 2026. The film is directed by Patrick Hughes, written by Patrick Hughes and James Beaufort, and produced by Alexander Young, Patrick Hughes and Todd Lieberman.
