Alan Ritchson’s War Machine Arrives on Netflix March 6, 2026

War Machine, an action thriller starring Alan Ritchson, will premiere on Netflix on March 6, 2026. The film was directed by Patrick Hughes, who co-wrote the screenplay with James Beaufort. Ritchson plays a combat engineer known only as “81,” named after his Ranger selection number.

The character carries serious emotional weight, haunted by trauma from a Taliban attack that killed his brother. When the trailer was released, fans began comparing the film to Predator. The cast also includes Dennis Quaid as Sergeant Major Sheridan, Jai Courtney, Esai Morales, Stephan James, Keiynan Lonsdale and Daniel Webber.
