Alan Ritchson's War Machine Arrives on Netflix March 6
Alan Ritchson returns in War Machine, a sci-fi-tinged action movie that puts him back in the role of a hardened soldier. The story follows recruits in an elite Army Ranger boot camp who endure weeks of grueling tests, only to face an otherworldly robotic enemy on their final training mission.
Patrick Hughes directs the film, which he co-wrote with James Beaufort; Beaufort also appears as one of the recruits. The cast includes Dennis Quaid, Esai Morales, Stephen James and Jai Courtney, alongside an eclectic array of talent among the other Rangers. War Machine hits Netflix on Friday, March 6, 2026, and should be available to stream starting at 12:00 a.m.
PT/3:00 a.m. ET. The movie is 100 minutes long and carries an R rating for strong violence, grisly images and language. Early trailers promise an adrenaline-pumping, largely humor-free spectacle that leans into character camaraderie and a protagonist driven by a hinted-at past.
