People reports American climber Alex Honnold will attempt to scale Taiwan’s 101-story Taipei 101 without ropes or safety nets on Netflix’s Skyscraper Live, airing Friday, Jan. 23, in a stunt that could be seen by millions of viewers.

Honnold, who was featured in the 2018 documentary Free Solo and became the first person to free-climb El Capitan in 2017, has been climbing for 30 years. He told CNN that accomplishing the feat is his "lifelong dream," and told Netflix’s Tudum he has "always had curiosity about what it would feel like to climb a building this big." Tudum also quoted him saying buildings are "steeper than most rock faces" and that he expects to be "a little nervous at the bottom."

Skyscraper Live will stream globally in real time; the special is produced by Plimsoll Productions Limited and directed by Joe DeMaio. The live broadcast will include coverage and analysis from Elle Duncan, Pete Woods, Emily Harrington, Mark Rober and Seth Rollins, and airs Friday, Jan. 23 at 5 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT on Netflix.
