Baywatch actress Alexandra Paul arrested again in beagle rescue protest

Alexandra Paul, best known for playing Lt. Stephanie Holden on Baywatch, was arrested Sunday after entering a Wisconsin farm where activists tried to free several dogs. Dane County Sheriff’s deputies and officers from nearby precincts responded to Ridglan Farms in the town of Blue Mounds when 50–60 protesters entered the property without permission.

Authorities say Paul and other activists allegedly broke into the facility and began removing numerous dogs. Some beagles were recovered and returned to Ridglan Farms, while others remain unaccounted for; two vehicles, burglary tools and other evidence were seized at the scene.

Paul, 62, and about 19 others were arrested, and officials described those involved as cooperative and respectful. Sheriff Kalvin Barrett said the office respects how deeply people feel for the beagles but must keep everyone safe and respond to unlawful activity, and encouraged those with concerns to pursue lawful, constructive avenues.
