Jeremie Aliadiere says Arsenal should keep faith with Mikel Arteta whatever happens in their 2025-26 trophy bids. The Gunners are chasing a quadruple, and their manager is determined to turn potential into something more tangible. Arteta has enjoyed FA Cup and Community Shield success but his expensively assembled squad have been tagged as ‘nearly men’ after finishing as Premier League runners-up in three consecutive seasons and falling short in domestic and European cup semi-finals.

He is acutely aware of the need to deliver in a results-driven business and has urged the team to focus on the present: “We have ourselves a very clear instruction. We have to live in the present. What we did in the past is great, but we have to live in the present, and the present is beautiful.” Aliadiere is emphatic that Arteta is the right man.

“A hundred per cent. For me, one million per cent,” he said, highlighting clear progress in squad quality and results.
