Alix Earle pushed back after critics questioned her cameo in Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show. She had posted a behind-the-scenes look on Monday from “the casita” on Levi’s Stadium field, and some TikTok followers called her inclusion “unbelievable and undeserved,” with one writing, 'You’ve never once used your platform and voice for the messages Bad Bunny sends.' Earle replied that she had used her voice and added, 'I have 💗 and being invited to do this was such an incredible experience and so special.' Her ties to Bad Bunny include a shared appearance in “Happy Gilmore 2” and mutual acquaintance David Grutman, who is producing her upcoming reality show and co-owns Bad Bunny’s Gekko restaurant in Miami.

Grutman, who was spotted near Earle during the show, said '[Bad Bunny] wanted to be inclusive of all. … Especially for the casita. He wanted to show a little bit of everything.
