All About Kelly Clarkson’s Delicate Hand and Wrist Tattoos

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine may be the most tatted-up Coach on The Voice: Battle of Champions, but Kelly Clarkson has more ink than many realize. She has described each tattoo as having a unique meaning, and one of the first places she added body art was on her wrist.

"I have like 27 [tattoos]," the Grammy winner revealed on The Kelly Clarkson Show in 2025. Clarkson has said her tattoos serve as reminders. In a 2021 interview she explained that "a lot of my tattoos are reminders," adding that many mark lessons about forgiveness and restraint: "They’re not all struggles, but a lot of them are.

I am such a forgiving human… I’m forgiving and loyal to a fault. I forget what happens. And then you just keep letting — you allow the same thing to repeat. So, a lot of mine are like, ‘Don’t do it.’ Like there’s one on my middle finger.
