All new video games releasing in 2026
When Rockstar Games delayed Grand Theft Auto 6 into 2026, it likely came as a big relief to publishers with anything on their slate for the back half of 2025. Even so, 2026 is shaping up to be an exciting and crowded year of big game releases, and Grand Theft Auto 6 is now slated for a November launch.
Alongside Rockstar’s ambitious new crime epic, the year includes Playground Games’ new Fable, Bungie’s Marathon, a Halo: Combat Evolved remake, three Capcom titles—Resident Evil Requiem, Pragmata, and Onimusha: Way of the Sword—Housemarque’s Returnal follow-up Saros, FromSoftware’s The Duskbloods, and two Nintendo entries: Rhythm Heaven Groove and Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream.
Marvel will also have a big year with a new fighting game, a WWII game starring Captain America and Black Panther, and Insomniac Games' Wolverine.
