Alleged staff affair at Upper East Side Spence School exposed by posters

Posters appeared around the Upper East Side alleging an affair between two members of staff at the ultra-ritzy Spence School.

Parents and nannies arriving for drop-off at the exclusive all-girls school — whose alumnae include Gwyneth Paltrow, Kerry Washington, Georgina Bloomberg and Bee Shaffer — were greeted with printouts reading “Attn Spence Families: [Redacted] is having an affair with [their] subordinate, [redacted], who is married with a three year old son.” The notices listed the Spence job titles of the two people named.

One of the alleged lovers has been a trusted member of staff at the school for more than a decade.

The episode has drawn comparisons to the TV show "Gossip Girl."
