Alvaro Morata reportedly moves out after second separation from Alice Campello
Goal reports that former Chelsea and Real Madrid striker Álvaro Morata, 33, has reportedly separated from his wife Alice Campello for a second time and has moved out of the family home in Milan, now living in a separate property in an exclusive area of the city.
Spanish magazine Hola said the couple, who renewed their relationship in January last year after an initial split in August 2024, have been living apart for several weeks. Morata has left the residence he shared with Campello and their four children — twins Alessandro and Leonardo, Edoardo and Bella — and photographers have captured him at the family gates, waiting to collect one of his children. Neither party has issued an official public statement about the situation.
Campello has publicly denied reports linking Morata to an affair, saying Elena Sirigu is a family friend and insisting the accusations were unfounded. The breakdown comes as Morata’s form at Como has suffered: he failed to score in his first 15 appearances after moving from AC Milan, a stark contrast to his role as Spain’s Euro 2024 captain.
Sources suggest the pair are attempting to maintain a cordial relationship for the sake of their children. It remains unclear how the separation will be formalised, and the forward — who has previously spoken about being "mentally broken" and the mental toll of criticism — now faces rebuilding his life on and off the pitch in Milan.
