Alysa Liu lists five favorite anime
Olympic champion Alysa Liu, the first American woman in more than 20 years to win Olympic gold in singles figure skating, said she has five go‑to anime. The 20‑year‑old shared the list during a rapid‑fire interview with Overtimewbb on TikTok.
She prefaced her picks as being in no particular order, then named Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, Attack on Titan, Madoka Magica and Soul Eater. Liu also mentioned a new chapter of Chainsaw Man had dropped that day, indicating she keeps up with the manga, and was seen carrying a Pochita plush.
When asked about Attack on Titan, she said she believed Eren Yeager was justified in triggering the Rumbling.
The selections range from recent hits to older series that started airing when she was respectively three and six years old, suggesting she follows current releases while also revisiting shows that helped shape the medium.
