Amazon’s basic Kindle is reduced to $90 — $20 off

Amazon's latest entry-level Kindle is on sale for $90, a $20 discount off its regular price.

The device made Engadget’s list of best ereaders. It offers a simple, compact design with 16GB of storage and two color options.

It lacks color and stylus support, but the build is durable and lightweight, making it easy to hold with one hand and pack for travel.

The battery lasts around six weeks with regular use, and the purchase includes three months of Kindle Unlimited access.

The main drawback is that this model displays lockscreen ads; a no-ads version is available at a higher price. The ads are generally limited to the lockscreen and mostly promote books.
