Amazon's King of Meat to shut down in April

Developer Glowmade and Amazon Game Studios confirmed Monday that King of Meat will shut down on April 9, 2026, and that players who purchased the game will receive full refunds. Players will be able to access and play all existing content until then. The 2025 multiplayer co-op game show struggled to find an audience, peaking at 320 concurrent players on Steam.

User reviews on Steam were mostly positive while critics were harsher via OpenCritic.
