The Analogue Pocket, which uses FPGA tech to run old Game Boy and GBA games at the hardware level, is back in stock but now carries a $240 price tag — up from the $200 it was first announced at and $220 when it shipped — as component prices rise. Ayn said its Thor and Odin 3 handhelds will also see price increases, blaming an "AI-fueled memory crisis." The company posted that its "DRAM and storage supplier has officially confirmed" cost increases expected to continue for approximately the next year, and cited exchange rate volatility and other material cost increases.

Publisher Nacon, facing bankruptcy and restructuring after delays and lackluster sales, pushed an early 2026 showcase back from March to May to focus resources on upcoming releases and polishing current projects. "Faced with a difficult economic environment for the company, we are choosing to focus our resources on upcoming releases and the development of our current games," the publisher wrote.
