Ange Postecoglou says Spurs look 'lost' under Igor Tudor
Former Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou admitted it "pains" him to see his old side in a state of collapse, saying the squad looks "fairly lost" under interim manager Igor Tudor as they face a genuine threat of relegation. Spurs went down 5-2 to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League and sit one point above the Premier League relegation zone with nine games remaining.
Tudor, who took the reins after Thomas Frank's departure, has lost all four of his matches in charge. Speaking to TNT Sports, Postecoglou pointed to pressure and a lack of identity within the group. "It looks like the players are fairly lost at the moment. There's obvious pressure there and it's a real difficult time," he said, adding that the situation "manifested itself" in a horror start against Atletico and that mental desperation was even showing up physically as players slipped and rushed their actions.
