Annabel Schofield, the Welsh-born model and actress, has died at 62. She passed away on Feb. 28 in Los Angeles after a battle with cancer and had graced the covers of Vogue and fronted campaigns for brands such as Yves Saint Laurent. Schofield shared details of her illness on GoFundMe, saying she learned in July that her cancer had spread to her brain after a three-year fight.

Her final post, on Jan. 18, described surgery to remove a large mass in her nasal cavity and left her feeling “pretty wobbly and weak” but relieved to be able to breathe through her nose. On screen, she was widely remembered for a Bugle Boy Jeans commercial in which she asks, “Excuse me, are those Bugle Boy jeans you’re wearing?” while driving a black Ferrari in the desert.

She moved to Los Angeles to act, playing Laurel Ellis on Dallas in 12 episodes in 1988 and appearing in Dragonard, Solar Crisis, Eye of the Widow and an episode of Dangerous Curves in 1992. Schofield later worked in production on films including The Brothers Grimm, Doom and City of Ember.
