Anne Hathaway shared behind-the-scenes tricks from the Oscars 2026 red carpet in a post on Instagram after the awards show, posting a "get ready with me" video that broke down how she and her glam team prepared. “Alright, drumroll please … Orlando, show them our secret,” she laughed as hairstylist Orlando Pita pulled away strands of hair from the side of her head, revealing hidden braids on each side.

In the clip, Pita braids two small sections on either side of her head and pulls them back to lift her eyes. “One on each side, and we bring it together in the back,” he explained, and Hathaway added, “And you look a little more awake.” With the hair at her temple pulling her face just a subtle amount, it’s like an instant facelift — and perhaps the answer to the plastic surgery speculation that has followed the star in recent months.
