Antec Flux Pro Noctua Edition makes building an all-Noctua PC easier
The Antec Flux Pro Noctua Edition pairs the Flux Pro chassis with Noctua's fans and a fan controller, and is priced at $400. That is cheaper than buying the same fans, controller and case separately ($467), but notably more than the standard Flux Pro, which has a $180 MSRP and six stock fans.
The case retains the Flux Pro’s roomy layout and walnut-front surround while adopting Noctua branding and a brown colourway. Accessories are neatly packed, with fans and cables pre-grouped, a small walnut sample and a Noctua fan keyring included; the front mesh was measured to reduce airflow only slightly, from 2.7 m/s to 2.3 m/s.
Noctua’s NF-A14x25 G2 and NF-A12x25 fans produce higher airflow at lower RPM, which the company says can lower temperatures by one to four degrees at the same noise level. In Metro Exodus benchmark runs using the recommended fan layout, average GPU temperature fell from 64°C to 61°C while CPU temperatures stayed largely unchanged.
