Anthropic is preparing to raise about $10 billion at a $350 billion valuation, according to The Wall Street Journal. TechCrunch has separately confirmed the raise and valuation, according to a person familiar with the matter.

The Claude maker last raised a $13 billion Series F round at a $183 billion valuation three months ago, and in March secured $3.5 billion at a $61.5 billion valuation. If completed, the new round would nearly double the company's valuation from its most recent financing.

Coatue Management and GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, are reported to be leading the new round, per the WSJ, which cited sources familiar with the deal. Anthropic is expected to close the financing in the coming weeks, and the total deal amount could change.

The round would be separate from a $15 billion commitment from Nvidia and Microsoft that the outlet described as a "circular" deal, in which Anthropic would buy $30 billion of compute capacity from Microsoft Azure running on Nvidia chips. The reported fundraising comes as Anthropic promotes Claude Code, powered by Claude Opus 4.5, and prepares for a potential IPO this year alongside OpenAI. Anthropic declined to comment, and TechCrunch updated the article to reflect its separate confirmation of the round.
