Apple Watch Series 11 (42mm) drops to $299 at Amazon

As of Jan. 8, the Apple Watch Series 11 (GPS, 42mm) is on sale at Amazon for $299, its lowest-ever price and $100 off the $399 list price.

A few different models have been marked down to the $299 price, including the jet black aluminum case with a black sport band, the silver aluminum case with a purple fog sport band, and the space gray aluminum case with a black sport band. For $0.99 more, the rose gold aluminum case with a light blush sport band is listed at $299.99. Mashable calls the Series 11 "a smartwatch we consider to be the best Apple upgrade," saying it "takes everything we loved about the Apple Watch Series 10 and adds a new processor and longer battery life." In his review, Mashable's Stan Schroeder praised the battery, writing, "After nearly a full week of use, I can say that the Apple Watch Series 11 is easily a one-and-a-half-day smartwatch now, and it's possible to extend that to a full weekend if you carefully use Low Power mode." The watch also includes features such as hypertension notifications, a sleep score, heart rate notifications, and advanced workout metrics like Pacer, Heart Rate Zones and training load.

Mashable notes the Series 11 is "worth the investment for the new year." The article does not specify how long the discounted prices will remain available at Amazon.
