Arc Raiders adds facial hair in Shrouded Sky update

Embark published details about the next Arc Raiders update landing tomorrow: a hurricane map condition that will ping shields with debris and send grenades tumbling with wind gusts, two new Arc enemies that unleash automated terror in air and on ground, a new project with fresh rewards, and a new high-value loot region in the Dam.

The Shrouded Sky Update's main event is facial hair. "Facial hair is coming to a Raider near you," Embark said. When the update goes live, all players will gain access to a stubble cosmetic, a full beard facial hair option will be unlockable in the Surgeon raider deck, and additional "stubble beard" and "thick moustache" cosmetics will be available for purchase in the in-game store.

The writer notes Arc Raiders was among a surprising number of games with limited facial hair options, and that proper facial hair choices are important for players who can't grow thick moustaches or full beards.
