Embark's Shrouded Sky update added new flying enemies to Arc Raiders, and players soon found one in particular can be ridden — a combat drone known as a Firefly.

Jumping on top lets you fly around and, in theory, attack from high ground. In practice, at least one player discovered it can send riders "to the great beyond."

Viewers chimed in with jokes about where they were sent, calling it "Straight to the backrooms," The Sunken Place or "the shadow realm."

The piece compares the stunt to moments in Dragon's Dogma 2 and The Legend of Zelda, where climbing flying enemies lets players travel the map without being exiled, and notes the appeal of experimenting with such interactions. A recent patch also nerfs Hurricane Caches so players can't "walk away from every session" with armfuls of blueprints.
