Arc Raiders community shines as stranger escorts downed player for 15 minutes

Arc Raiders' community produced a heartwarming moment when a stranger spent 15 minutes escorting a downed player to a hatch. The companion never spoke, but a timelapse shows them guiding the player and using a Vita Spray when health ran low.

The rescued player, Kickflippingdad, said they hadn't mentioned their loot—only an Anvil 3 and some heals—because the only irreplaceable item was a Looting MK3 Survivor blueprint and they didn't want to risk losing it.

The MK3 Survivor augment heals a raider if they're downed while remaining still; another player has used it to crawl for 15 minutes across the map to an extract. Many players say encounters like this are what elevate the game beyond its core mechanics.

Not every interaction ends well: there are accounts of rescuers being betrayed at the last moment, including one player who revived someone only to be shot and have their Venator IV stolen. Despite such incidents, plenty of players focus on the positives and value these feel-good moments.
