Arianna Lacerte and Josh Kipnis were married at her fathers hospital bedside at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, Mass., on Nov. 24, 2025, after Edward Lacerte was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of acute monocytic leukemia and the couple moved their wedding forward so he could attend.

Mr. Lacerte is hoping to find a blood stem cell donor. Ms. Lacerte and Mr. Kipnis met on Hinge in April 2023 and bonded over shared family values and sports. They had been planning an April 2026 ceremony for more than 200 at the William Aiken House in Charleston, S.C. Mr. Lacerte, the teams longtime head trainer and physical therapist, left the Boston Celtics in 2017 after more than 30 years and worked with USA Basketball, including the 1992 Olympic "Dream Team."
