Armageddon Climbs Tubi Charts 28 Years After Release

Michael Bay's 1998 blockbuster Armageddon has resurfaced on streaming, topping the domestic Tubi charts this week, according to FlixPatrol. The film follows blue-collar oil drillers recruited to destroy an asteroid and helped propel Ben Affleck to the A-list while cementing Bruce Willis as the greatest action star of his generation.

Co-written by J.J. Abrams, Armageddon was the highest-grossing hit of 1998, earning more than $530 million worldwide against a reported $140 million budget.
