Veteran action movie star Chuck Norris passed away on Mar. 20 at the age of 86. He made his name as a martial artist and began his film career in the late 1960s, eventually amassing roughly 60 credits. Best known for his eight-year run as Cordell Walker on Walker, Texas Ranger from 1993 to 2001, Norris continued working into the 2000s and 2010s, including a role in the star-studded 2012 action movie The Expendables 2, which wound up being his final film.

Shortly after the announcement of Norris's death, his Expendables 2 co-star Arnold Schwarzenegger posted on X, expressing gratitude for having worked with him and praising his legacy. He wrote: "Chuck was an icon. I am grateful that I was able to work with him in multiple ways over the years, from promoting fitness to sharing the screen together.

He was a badass, in real life and in Hollywood. His legend will be with us forever. My thoughts are with his family." Fellow Expendables stars Dolph Lundgren and Jean-Claude Van Damme also reacted.
