Eberechi Eze and Declan Rice fired Arsenal into the Champions League quarter-finals with stunning strikes as the Gunners beat Bayer Leverkusen 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium to seal a 3-1 aggregate victory and set up a meeting with Sporting CP.

Arsenal started quickly and were repeatedly denied by Janis Blaswich until the 36th minute, when Eze controlled Leandro Trossard's pass, turned and unleashed a sensational strike into the top corner to break the deadlock.

Just after the hour mark Rice brought down a looping ball, drove toward the edge of the box and curled a superb effort into the corner to make it 2-0. Leverkusen pushed late, but Christian Kofane's effort was kept out by David Raya as Arsenal secured their spot in the quarter-finals.

GOAL's ratings highlighted Eze with 9/10, while Rice and Raya earned 8/10 and Mikel Arteta was also given an 8/10. Eze did limp off with an injury in the second half ahead of Sunday's Carabao Cup final at Wembley.
