Daniel Oyetunde has left Arsenal for the United States, signing permanently with USL League One side Fort Wayne FC. The 19-year-old forward, who joined Arsenal in 2021 and signed his first professional contract in July 2025, says the move is the "right next step" as he begins his senior career abroad.

Oyetunde made 31 appearances across Arsenal's under-18, under-19 and under-21 teams and had a brief loan at St Albans City earlier this season, featuring against Burton Albion in the FA Cup and scoring one minute into his league debut for the non-league club. He made his Arsenal U21 debut in January 2026 and now joins Fort Wayne on a permanent transfer; the move is pending league and federation approval in the US.

He becomes the 17th player added to Fort Wayne’s roster ahead of their first professional match against FC Naples in Naples, Florida in early March. Speaking to club media after his move, Oyetunde said: "I’d been at Arsenal for the past five years and played throughout the age groups there from under-15 to under-21.
