Arteta rejects 'bottle jobs' tag after Wolves draw
Mikel Arteta dismissed suggestions his Arsenal side are becoming "bottle jobs" following a disappointing 2-2 draw with Wolves that left the Gunners five points clear of Manchester City but having played a game more. He said the label was not one he would use and urged respect for different opinions while stressing the team must accept criticism "on the chin." Bukayo Saka and Piero Hincapié had put Arsenal in control, only for Hugo Bueno's long-range strike and Tom Edozie's effort — which ricocheted off Riccardo Calafiori and in after a miscommunication between David Raya and Gabriel Magalhães — to earn Wolves a point.
Arteta said: "It’s not part of my vocabulary and I don’t see it like this because I don’t think anybody wants to do that as an intention. I wouldn’t use that word... You lose two points against Wolves in the manner that the game played out, you have to take it on the chin.
