Artist builds life-size Seikret cosplay despite no prior experience
A creator is building a life-size Seikret cosplay that stood out even after a visit to a Monster Hunter bar in Tokyo, where detailed props and recreated armour sets filled the room. The project's reels have drawn attention for how quickly and carefully the figure is coming together.
Footage shows the head gaining individual scales, electronic eyes that blink and a transparent resin eyelid, plus 3D-printed elements, magnetic foam sheets that clip over the nose and a movable jaw made from PVC piping. The wearable frame was engineered to stay lightweight while balancing batteries housed in the head, with the creator explaining they avoided too much counterweight in the tail to keep the suit manageable to wear.
Trine.k.n says they had 'never made anything like this before,' yet the neck, body, legs and arms are now assembled, scales have been soldered into place and the suit has been painted.
