Aryna Sabalenka’s 12-carat engagement ring from Georgios Frangulis

Tennis star Aryna Sabalenka, 27, announced her engagement to 37-year-old Georgios Frangulis after a candlelit proposal on Mar. 3 amid an elaborate display of roses and candles. Frangulis presented a custom 12-carat oval diamond ring set in platinum and accented with emeralds, Sabalenka’s favorite stone.

She shared the news on Instagram with the caption “You & me, forever ♾️ 3.3.26 💍🤍,” and friends including David Beckham, Novak Djokovic and Coco Gauff offered congratulations. Isabela Grutman of Isa Grutman Jewelry designed the piece after months of collaboration with Frangulis.

“We spent months working on the design, selecting the stones, and perfecting every detail of the craftsmanship to make it truly special for Aryna,” Grutman said, adding that Georgios’ idea to incorporate emeralds was a personal touch. Rustin Yasavolian, CEO at Masina Diamonds, estimated the ring’s value between $500,000 and $800,000.
