Ashley St. Clair responds after Musk threatens custody suit over son
Pagesix reports that Ashley St. Clair clapped back at Elon Musk after he threatened to sue for full custody of their son over her alleged implication that she “might transition [their] one-year-old boy.” When asked by CNN anchor Erin Burnett about Musk’s threatening tweet, St. Clair said, “I’m not at liberty to discuss it further, but I think anyone with more than a third-grade reading comprehension level knows what I was saying there.” Over the weekend she posted an apology on X for past comments about the transgender community, writing, “I feel immense guilt for my role,” and saying she had been “trying incredibly hard privately to learn + advocate for those within the trans community that I’ve hurt.” A fan shared a screenshot of that apology and another called her support “coming out in support of trans grooming,” to which Musk replied, “I will be filing for full custody today, given her statements implying she might transition a one-year-old boy.” St.
Clair previously said she revealed last February that she had welcomed Musk’s 13th child five months earlier and later blasted him for refusing to publicly acknowledge he was the father. She has also claimed Musk “substantially” reduced child support in March 2025, said he offered $15 million to keep the child secret, and disclosed she faced eviction last summer amid their child support dispute.
