Ashton Kutcher says he showers, addressing viral podcast comments

People: Ashton Kutcher addressed long-running speculation that he and his wife, Mila Kunis, do not shower, clarifying that he does shower regularly and referencing viral 2021 podcast comments.

On a 2021 appearance on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert, Kunis said she "didn’t shower very much" while Kutcher added that he cleans his "armpits and my crotch daily and nothing else ever." Kutcher called the reaction "the craziest thing of all time," saying people asked, "Does he stink? Does he smell?" and stressing that he showers after going to the gym.

Co-star Anthony Ramos told the conversation, "I can confirm my boy showers." Kutcher also discussed his physical preparation for his FX role as The Corporation — hiring trainer Robbie Egan, early morning workouts to get "Speedo-ready," a haircut and 20 days of not drinking before shooting began Jan. 20 last year. FX describes The Corporation as a shadowy tech billionaire behind a miracle drug; The Beauty premieres with three episodes on Wednesday, Jan. 21 at 9 p.m. ET/PT and will stream on Hulu and Disney+.
