Asmongold Leaves Mythic Talent After Controversial Remarks
Zack Hoyt, better known as Asmongold, has parted ways with Mythic Talent, the streamer agency he co-founded in 2023. "We have spoken with Asmongold and mutually agreed to part ways," Mythic’s official account posted, with replies off. The statement added that the agency represents creators from a wide range of backgrounds and is committed to fostering an environment grounded in respect and responsibility while supporting creators' long-term careers.
Hoyt remains the agency’s most prominent co-founder and has long been a lightning rod for controversy, known for stirring drama, making incendiary statements and frequently ranting against liberal politics and "wokeness." Earlier in the week he said he wouldn’t be emotionally blackmailed into feeling bad about the bombing of a girl’s elementary school in the US’ airstrikes in Iran, an attack that was reported to have killed more than 150 civilians, and some have speculated the remark is connected to his exit.
