Pcgamer: Asus has rushed to clarify reports from Hardware Unboxed that it had listed its line of Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPUs as end-of-life, saying the outlet "may have received incomplete information from an Asus PR representative regarding these products."

Asus' EMEA team told the outlet it had not heard about an EoL decision and called EoL "a big term." MSI also said it has "no plan to EoL anything" and that its "goal is to feed all gamers with all GPUs." The coverage notes memory shortages and shifting priorities have made the RTX 5070 Ti harder to source, while Nvidia's 16 GB positioning appears to be moving toward the RTX 5080 for that segment.

There is no official end-of-life for the RTX 5070 Ti, but availability and limited production mean the card is getting harder to find at realistic prices. The report warns that, with a likely focus on shipping to system builders and channel priorities, "there's a good chance it and the 16 GB RTX 5060 Ti are going to feel like dead cards for a while," even as their official status remains unchanged.
