Atalanta beat Verona 1-0 at the New Balance Arena, with Davide Zappacosta scoring the decisive goal on 37 minutes. The win ended a run of three matches without victory — two draws and a defeat — and came after Atalanta’s elimination from the Champions League by Bayern Munich.
