Avengers: Doomsday will be more than a cameo fest, says Lewis Pullman
When a crossover stacks the roster, a familiar worry returns: will the film become a parade of fleeting appearances? Lewis Pullman, who plays Bob Reynolds/Sentry, pushed back on that idea, saying “Every character has their moment that builds the dimensions of them.” He praised Joe and Anthony Russo, adding, “They do not want anyone just sitting in the background,” and said the directors took seriously “the responsibility of having some of the best actors in the world all together,” while teasing “a lot of really exciting pair-ups.” Pullman made his Marvel debut in Thunderbolts and is confirmed to return for Avengers: Doomsday, where he steps into a much larger ensemble.
He was careful not to reveal too much and joked that talking about Marvel is “always such a funny dance of saying nothing while still words are coming out of your mouth.” His remarks should reassure fans worried about empty cameos in what is shaping up to be one of the MCU’s most crowded events.
