Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime wedding segment — in which he led Lady Gaga through a circle to his salsa track “Baile Inolvidable” — has been followed by a noticeable uptick in interest in salsa, especially among young people. The song, released at the start of 2025, surprised many who know him for reggaeton and Latin trap.

In New York the change was immediate. DJs and teachers say the track quickly became a staple at nights out, outdoor events and socials; organizers report younger faces filling dance floors. At least one studio owner said classes doubled in size after the song appeared.

Tamara Livolsi, who choreographed the video and appears in it as the teacher, has been in high demand as a performer and instructor across Latin America and Europe. Dancers and event organizers describe the moment as contagious and say the album has helped bridge generational divides, reconnecting younger people with music their parents once danced to.
